astro-pi.org editorial documentation
These docs cover the essentials on how to update content on astro-pi.org.
Key pages are managed by our Content Management System (CMS), Contentful. This allows editors to update the website themselves without having to request development work.
Contentful builds up pages with Components. Components are things, such as banners, blocks, or cards. Some components are managed in Contentful, whereas others are static (e.g. the header bar). Components can contain further components, meaning you can build up pages with ease.
You can preview components so you can visualise what it is you're building.
