Illustrated Text

An Illustrated Text component displays an illustration with some copy.

The illustration can be:

  • a picture
  • short text (e.g. a statistic)

The copy provides context to the illustration, but should be kept to a sentence or two as this component is typically in a row of three or four items.

Use​

  • In Contentful, create an Illustrated Text component
  • Add an Internal Name and Copy
    • The Internal Name is just to assist with organisation and won't be visible to the public
    • The Copy is shown underneath the image or statistic
  • To show some text as your illustration, enter content into the Text field
  • To show an image as your illustration, set an Image
caution

If any Text is set, any uploaded image won't show, as each individual Illustrated Text component can show either an Image or Text - not both.
