Text Block

A Text Block displays a heading and a paragraph of copy, and is the main way of displaying content on the site.

Some text elements and styling is allowed in the copy:

  • You may add links, unordered lists and ordered lists
  • You may style copy in bold, italic and underline

Additionally, a background colour of white and grey may be chosen, useful for creating contrast between blocks of text.

If there are two blocks with the same background colour following each other on a page, they will visually merge together, ideal when you want headings part way down the page.

Use​

  • In Contentful, create a Text Block component
  • Add a Heading and some Copy
  • Select the background colour you desire
